英语 as a Second 语言 (ESL) Assessment

- 在线视频会议 -安排 网上约会 接受援助. Please log in using your Student Account (LACCD logo). A confirmation email (with meeting link) will be sent to your 学生的电子邮件. Appointments are hosted using ConexEd.
- 电子邮件 - Send your questions by email to assessment@yadavphotography.com. For the best experience, please be sure to include your Full Name and Student ID#. Student emails are typically answered within one business day (excluding weekends and holidays).

The East Los Angeles College 评估中心 strives to accurately identify students’ 英语, Reading and Math skill levels. Carefully selected assessment instruments and multiple measures are utilized to appropriately assess student skill levels and recommend course placement. Proper course placements enable students to successfully progress through required course sequences and to achieve their educational goals.
重要的信息
In response to Assembly Bill (AB) 705, East Los Angeles College has moved away from standardized testing as the primary means of assessing students. 请注意:
- As of January 2019, the 英语 & Math assessment tests are no longer offered.
- As of January 2020, the 英语 as a Second 语言 (ESL) assessment test is no longer offered.
新的评估
英语 & 数学评估
有一种新的英语 & Math assessment process known as 多种措施. The process consists of using high school coursework, 高中成绩, and high school GPA to determine 英语 and Math placement levels. Students who earned a U.S. 高中毕业证书, passed the General Educational Development (GED) test, or earned a high school proficiency certificate within the past ten (10) years, are eligible to participate. 请浏览我们的 多种措施 点击此处了解更多信息!
英语 as a Second 语言 (ESL) Assessment
There is a new ESL assessment process known as ESL 引导Self-Placement. The process involves asking students to describe their 英语 语言 abilities to determine an ESL placement level. Students who plan to take Credit ESL classes (intermediate & advance levels) are invited to participate.
